This could be
the start of a very profitable bouncy castle business
for you. As with all new businesses
it will take hard work and determination for you to make
it succeed and for a relatively small investment
you could be earning around £300 every week in your
spare time.
The main things to consider are the average size of the
gardens in your area, normally 12 x 12 castles are the
most popular size.
If you are considering fetes or car boot sales please
bear in mind that the larger the castle the more kids
you can cater
for at any one time. If you are buying a larger castle
for these events please check with organisers first as
to how many events
you can actually get on.

Here at Designer Bounce we offer
three classes of castle, all manufactured to the same
high standards.
What you must decide is how to maximise your profit from
the word go. Whether it be maximum artwork (gold
Standard) for
that all important first impression or the less
expensive option (bronze standard) or a mixture of both
(Silver Standard) take
a look at our Dream Deals in the packages section for
the ideal starter pack for you.
In order to maximise your investment from the start,
advertising is very important. Some suggestions are,
newspapers,
newsagents windows, village hall notice boards, local
chip shops, Yellow Pages but to name a few, don't forget
at every party
you have a captive audience, always ask the parents to
put a business card in every party bag. The one thing to
remember
is that it takes a long time to get a good name but it
only takes one disgruntled customer to lose it.
Do not under any circumstances double book. Sometimes it
is possible to get castles out twice in one day, please
leave
plenty of time in between.
At Designer Bounce we strongly recommend taking out
third party Liability insurance cover. This should be a
minimum,
if you would like to you can also insure your castles
against theft. Click here for an up to date
insurance
quote.
How you treat your customers is of the utmost
importance. The customer is looking for value for money,
check out the local
competition and price accordingly. Make sure you deliver
on time and that your castles are clean and dry as
first impressions count. Don't forget that answering the
phone is the most important part of the job, if you are
not
there they will call the next person on their list, look
into diverting to your mobile but bear in mind that this
can
be an expensive option.
